How often are the sessions
Sessions are weekly and generally on the same day and time. Please be aware I do not offer fortnightly or ad hoc sessions.
How long will it be before I can have an appointment?
I always aim to make an appointment for new referrals within the week. Depending on availability it could be sooner, though never usually longer than a week.
Can I have day time or evening appointments?
My practice is open both during the day and in the evenings. My practice operates Monday to Thursday.
How many sessions will I be offered?
I offer open ended counselling which means you are in charge of how many sessions you have. There is no limit as I work both long and short term. You are in charge.
How long are the sessions?
The sessions are 50 mins long, this is known as the therapeutic hour.
Can I have face to face or online sessions?
As we now find ourselves moving forward from the pandemic, I am now moving my practice back to in face to face sessions.
Can I bring someone to the sessions with me?
The short answer to this is no. These sessions are designed to give you space and time in a safe place away from the influence of others. This is a space just for you.

How much do the sessions cost?
Counselling sessions including the assessment are charged at £55. Please be aware, I am unable to offer free or reduced rates for students or for any other reason. Please refer to the Free Counselling page for further info and where to go.
How do I make payment?
Payment needs to be made in cash at the beginning of each session.
How do I make an appointment?
You can make an appointment by email or telephone or by submitting form on the contacts page.
Is there wheelchair access?
There is no wheelchair access and my office is at the top of the building.
